I used to always think in school years – even after I had left school a long time before, and every summer without fail bought an Academic Year Planner. I’d swap between weekly planners and daily planners depending on the year, but it was always Summer to Summer. In fact it took me a really long time to start thinking in calendar years and go to a Jan-Dec planner. Eventually I did, but ever since I first launched Hello Day I always planned to create this planner for people whose lives revolve around the academic year, or people who just prefer this format for whatever reason.
So who is it designed for?
MUMS
Let’s face it, Mums have a hard job! Whether they’re a new mum, a returning-to-work mum, a working mum or stay-at-home mum, staying on top of life aint easy. Not only do you have to keep your own stuff together, you have to keep track of everyone else’s schedules, events & obligations too – as well as the family events, holidays, birthdays… the list does not end. I see my friends and family members juggling all of their family commitments and it never ceases to amaze me. It takes serious planning and organisation – so hats off to you all, this Hello Day Mid-Year / Academic Year Planner is for you. It’s there help you keep your life and your family’s lives in order, to help you prioritise and organise; to help you find time for you; to help you feel like you are living your life deliberately and on purpose, rather than living it in a whirlwind of responsibilities and obligations.
STUDENTS & TEACHERS
And hats off to you too – whatever age you are. I’ve been both and I truly appreciate both. At Hello Day we hold knowledge and learning in high regard. We love opening new doors, experiences and opportunities, and learning is a major ingredient in achieving all three. So a giant thank you to all the teachers out there who dedicate their lives to passing on knowledge. And to all the students out there, enjoy your studying and cherish this opportunity to soak up knowledge, but don’t get too stressed about it. Life can take many twists and turns when you finish studying – just do your best and learn as much as you can. So yes, this planner is for you too.
